Who makes the best chili in Lake Asbury?  Do you have that secret recipe?  Well – it’s time to show off your chili cooking skills.  Be it made with ground beef, pork, venison or even that pot of vegetarian chili – all are welcome to come and see just who does make that great pot of chili. 
The Lake Asbury Ladies will host this event and find out who has bragging rights.
Not ready to compete?  Bring your crockpot of chili, your cornbread, your trimmings and most importantly yourself and family to have a great social time with your neighbors, friends and family.  We’ll provide the location, dishes, utensils and drinks. 
It’s a promise that we’ll have a good time and perhaps experience that unique pot of awesome chili. 
If you plan to compete, we ask that you bring your chili pot at 3:45 and plug it in inside the LA Community Center.  We’ll keep your identity a secrete to keep our judges honest.  
When:  Saturday October 29th
Where:  Lake Asbury Community Center. 
Time:  Pots for judging come at 3:45; all others at 4pm
